Rep Barbara Lee, Aimee Allison, Betty Yee to Headline Celebration Event Ahead of Official Nomination
This Wednesday, Kamala Harris will become the first woman of color to be a major-party nominee for Vice President. In celebration, a number of women-of-color-led groups are holding a pre-party with Representative Barbara Lee and hundreds of women of color from across the country.
What: Online pre-party to celebrate the nomination of Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate for Vice President, and speak about the significance of this moment to women of color.
Who: Hundreds of women of color from across the country cheering on Senator Kamala Harris as she becomes the first woman of color to be a major party nominee for Vice President. Hosts include She the People, One Fair Wage, All* Above All Action Fund, Community Voices Heard, Jobs with Justice, Organize Florida, and PLAN Action. Speakers include:
